Las energéticas estadounidenses Coterra y Devon se encuentran en negociaciones avanzadas para fusionarse

Las energéticas estadounidenses dedicadas a la exploración de hidrocarburos Coterra y Devon se encuentran en negociaciones avanzadas para una posible fusión, lo que se traduciría en la creación de un gigante del sector con una capitalización bursátil de unos 47.100 millones de dólares (39.406 millones de euros).
Según ha informado Bloomberg citando fuentes conocedoras de la operación, las compañías podrían anunciar la transacción en los próximos días. No obstante, han precisado que aún no se ha tomado ninguna decisión definitiva al respecto.
La noticia revalorizaba sobre las 21.00 hora peninsular española las acciones de Coterra en Bolsa un 3,17%, hasta los 28,67 dólares (23,99 euros), mientras que las de Devon subían un 0,75%, hasta los 40,13 dólares (33,57 euros).
